When my stock broke several years ago I always knew I’d need a custom built piece to replace it, so I had it repaired to try and put off the trouble of finding someone to do it to the standards I would expect. 

Adam and I spoke about the task at hand, and he sourced the blanks for me to choose from, advising of the good bits to select from and which to avoid.

 

From start to finish I’ve been impressed with everything, and the end result is stunning. Can’t recommend Adam highly enough of you are looking for any woodwork on your gun.

I have a much-loved George III oak table dated circa 1760 which has been passed down to me through four generations.

​

Living right by the sea it has  suffered greatly from exposure to salt water damp following numerous house  flooding over many years - despite our best efforts. This resulted in the top being badly bowed. It also had a leg missing for as long as any of the  family can remember.

 

Having entrusted it to Adam for restoration I wasn't  expecting miracles but that is exactly what I got.

He spent many long hours meticulously reshaping the table top and even found a matching piece of  wood of the same vintage which he skillfully crafted to replace the missing leg.

 

The table has now been restored to its former glory and the drawer now opens smoothly and effortlessly.

Adam even cleaned the brass drawer handle to perfection, removing over two centuries of brass cleaner!

I'm absolutely delighted with the end result and much appreciate the care he took in  restoring the table without losing any of its history or aged charm.
